Campaign: Believe it when I see it

Every year, Brazil loses about R$300 billion from tax expenditures that the federal government grants to companies, institutions or individuals. But who, exactly, receives these incentives? Are they really beneficial to society as a whole? Seeking answers to these questions, the Institute of Socioeconomic Studies (Inesc) has launched the #SóAcreditoVendo (Believe it when I see it) campaign, which calls for transparency in the process of granting tax incentives.
