It is one of the biggest alliances ever organized by male and female citizens all over the world. It gathers 200 organizations and social movements over more than 100 countries. It is represented by a white strip. Since its starting, the initiative is marked by mobilization, and its main purpose is leading all countries’ governments towards complying with their commitments of support to poor populations.

The Campaign was created in 2005, during the Global Social Forum held in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

The Global Call is not seeking for money. Rather, it aims at raising people’s voice and attitudes to demand, suggest and control the governors. Speak out your voice. It has power.
