Note on the data bank structure and information sources used in the research. We initiated this series on energy by including in our data bank the projects that make up the socalled “Madeira River Hydroelectric Complex”: the Jirau and Santo Antonio hydroelectric power plants, the transmission lines associated with these two dams, and the 2,375-km transmission system. TN from the "Observatório de Investimentos na Amazônia" project.
